    SCL India was contracted to undertake an in-depth analysis of the electorate, including all-voter identification and competitive intelligence of opposition parties for the Bihar Assembly Election 2010. 

    The core challenge was to identify the floating/swing voters from each of the Parties and to measure the levels electoral apathy, resulting from the poor and unchanged condition of the State due to 15 years of incumbent rule. 

    In addition to the research phase, SCL India were tasked to organize the party base at the village level by creating a communication hierarchy to help increase the performance of the Party activists and leaders in motivating their supporters. 

    This work resulted in helping our Client to win a landslide victory with over 90% of total seats targeted by SCL Elections.

    SCL Elections successfully managed the entire election campaign for the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. The election was held on 25th January 2010 and resulted in the St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party winning six out of eight seats in Parliament and thus continuing their tenure as the ruling government. This unprecedented fourth term victory has seen Prime Minister Dr Denzil Douglas successfully defend his position as the longest serving Prime Minister in the region.

This strategic insight was used to inform our campaign interventions, which included the election dominating "Do So!" campaign, which became the rallying cry of the new government.

Local research teams managed over 200 intense in-depth interviews and conducted more than 50 focus groups throughout the 5 constituencies, in addition to a comprehensive quantitative research programme. SCL Elections was able to identify the key behavioural triggers that would influence the election - and that could be used to inform the candidate's campaign strategy.  At this point SCL Elections role was completed and campaign implementation was passed to a local agency at the client's discretion.

Extensive research revealed that the propensity for change was high, and that under no circumstances would the voting public re-elect him. Based on these findings he did not contest the election, thus saving considerable resources.
